If the Electoral College decided not to go for Trump, but some other Republican, I don’t think there would be rioting in the streets, not at the rate Trump is breaking the campaign promises that really fired up his hardcore base. Deport Illegals? Mmmm…maybe not. Ban Muslims? Mmmmm…we can’t really do that. Hillary for Prison? Mmmm….Nah, she’s suffered enough! Drain the swamp? Mmmm….How about we appoint the swamp monsters to the administration instead? Etc, etc, etc. If this continues, his base is going to be rioting in the streets. With guns.
Switching stances on those issues should come as no surprise to anyone paying attention, and I think it’s only just begun. Yea, I think the hard-cores are going to start getting upset.
Yep, I NEVER expected him to even try most of the crap he promised. I also never expected Hillary to implement her campaign promises, but in her case, she could blame the Republican Congross. What’s Trump gunna do, just say “I lied to get elected”?
